I guess it all started when I was really young. My father was a fashion designer and together we would spend hours in his office looking at designers, sewing machines and fabrics. Every year I asked Santa to bring me a sewing machine, but…unfortunately, he never did. Little did I know back then, that it would be 20 years before I would get that sewing machine. In fact, my life went in a completely different direction.

I come from a family of travelers and explorers so once I was old enough I left home to find my adventure. As a teenager, I was fueled by a passion for travelling, learning languages and discovering new cultures. I visited many towns and cities around the globe embracing all they had to offer. It made sense then, at the age of 21, that I chose a career as a flight attendant in the Middle East. It was one of the most wonderful and thrilling experiences.
Alas, moving around gets tiring. So, after almost 8 years in the Middle East I left my job. Italy was calling me home, happily I returned to the beautiful town I had left behind all those years ago… Bergamo.
After a few years working in Bergamo my travelling feet began to itch again. Barcelona became the next adventure! It was there that I rediscovered my passion for art and creativity. I enrolled in a tailoring course and finally… I bought myself my first sewing machine!
Who would have expected a global pandemic to be the catalyst that pushed me to create Q-Bee. Well it did. Surprise Surprise!!
I waited almost 20 years for that sewing machine and now, nothing can stop me from using it!
